Trail right behind our house and provides a wonderful, ‘moderate’ level hike into White River National forest. You can walk up to the fireroad behind the house and follow it up to the main trail. The full out/back hike is approx 6.5 miles. The first 1-2 miles are the hardest (uphill), but then opens up into a beautiful valley.
Great for some mellow backcountry skiing & exploration in the Winter and 4x4, Hiking & Camping in the summer. The trail is closed to motorized vehicles from November to May.
