Golf Salsomaggiore Terme
Inaugurated in 1992, Salsomaggiore Golf Club is surrounded by 70 hectares of parkland and gardens. It is 360 metres above sea level on the hills that surround the spa town of Salsomaggiore.
The course, which has 18 championship holes, lies in a green and silent valley and its highly spectacular for both its technical level and the beauty of the scenery.
Furthermore, its gently rolling fairways and rapid greens allow players of every level to compete on a course that is always in top condition. At the centre of the golf complex stands a modern and spacious clubhouse that is equipped to satisfy every need.

the National museum Giuseppe Verdi opened on the 10th of October 2009 on the occasion of the 196th anniversary of the Maestro's birth, inside the beautiful Villa Pallavicino.
The 27 works of the great composer are represented through an historical tour displaying the original scenographies of Casa Ricordi, the precious fabrics of the 19th century, costumes and fashion plates of the performers, the immortal music in a theatrical atmosphere that makes visitors live particular emotions and takes them along the way.
The itinerary has been created by the scenographer and director Pier Luigi Pizzi. The music hall, the garden of Verdi, the multimedia technologie and a bookshop complete the tour o

Arturo Toscanini was born in Parma 1867 and entered the Royal School of Music at the age of nine, graduating in cello and composition at 18 years old. He started his career as a conductor immediately after, becoming one of the greatest performers of all times.
His birthplace, a modest house on the west side of the river has been turned into a museum in 1967, when his children donated it to the town.
