Hearsay has good food and a special atmosphere. It's located in a historical building on the Strand so it's a very short drive or uber ride. In the cooler months request a table on the balcony that overlooks the street. After you are done dining walk down to La King's for ice cream or chocolate. :)

Shykatz is a great breakfast spot. It's located in an old neighborhood corner store and super close to Blue Skies. It's an easy walk past vintage homes.

This is one of our favorites!!! Great pizza. I am gluten free and they have the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. I am told that their Gluten Full pizza is fantastic. :) I have never been disappointed!

We have been to Prohibition Red's a few times and really like it. The bacon wrapper artichokes are really good. This restaurant is in a historic building and is named after a lady that ran a speakeasy during prohibition.

Bishop's Palace is one of the remaining mansions on Broadway in Galveston. It was built in the late 1800's. It is massive, ornate and very cool. Galveston has several historical homes you can tour. This one is my favorite. It is just a 7 minute walk from Blue Skies.

This is the best way to see dolphins. Riding the ferry is free. You can get out look for dolphins. In the summer months when traffic is high it might be better to park your car and walk on to the ferry to avoid waits.

Island Bicycle rents bikes. It's a great locally owned shop. Walk down there and ride your bike home.
