You will need to travel west from the cottage about 5-7 miles on 30A to find it. Sundays 4-7 is usually "locals" night with a lot of music and dancing, but, of course, everyone is welcome.

Located inside of the "Pearl" hotel in Rosemary Beach. Inside of the bar/restaurant has an old Havanna feel and decor. A bit dressy for a special night or lunch. You can also sit on their outdoor porch to eat and watch the crowds (can be noisy though). Food selections vary/prices can be higher than other places. Also, don't miss the little roof-top bar - pass through the hotel lobby, out the glass door, and then up the stairs outside to find the bar. Usually a fun scene for people-watching or snuggling down together in one of the hidden corners for a romantic drink and small plate. Don't be surprised if they start playing disco :-o

Rosemary Beach is a small town located on the very far East end of 30A, where it almost intersects with Hwy 98. Along with Seaside, this is browsing, eating, and shopping at its best. Walk the side streets to see some wonderful architecture in the variety of beach houses built in the little town.

Beautiful beach with restrooms and lots of parking. Water is usually crystal clear. Great place to spend the day swimming and sunning after you've explored the Eastern Lake outfall beach. Located West of the cottage about 3 miles.

It gets crowded on "Turnover day" (Saturdays), so plan to visit either very late at night or early, early in the morning during high season of summer and major holidays. Also, there is a laundry service/dry cleaner in the same plaza if you need one-day wash done.

There are oodles of bike rental places, but this one is within walking distance of the cottage. Go over the Eastern Lake Bridge (EAST), and you will see it about two blocks on the left, after you cross the bridge. Best way to see everything - 2 miles to Seaside, 3 miles to Rosemary beach or Grayton Beach. If you weren't in shape before, you will be after biking 30A for the week :).
