Recommendations on How To Get Here
The best way to get to the Villa is by a shuttle from the airport (we can arrange it for you), or by renting a car. It is a 2.5 hour drive from Guanacaste airport (LIR) and a 4.5 hour drive from San Jose airport (SJO). For car rentals, we recommend a 4WD during rainy season months (May-Nov) and an SUV as a minimum for the rest of the year. The last 10km of the road is unpaved and hilly, so drive carefully and try to arrive at the Villa during daytime hours--it is also a good way to experience the different types of forest and typical Guanacastecan towns that you will be driving through.

At $15/meal, you pick up the ingredients on the way to the Villa and she will cook them to perfection.
