Food Scene
La Molleta (restaurant), Pianola (bar), Teleclub (bar owned by the village itself) all have food. I recommend the Teleclub for Tapas. Very friendly manager Sami with excellent English. Pianola for snacks. Molleta for something bigger.

Drinks & Nightlife
Xabia (or Javea) has a semi circular curved beach the "Arenal" with white sands, palm trees and lined with a promenade and low lying restaurants. It could easy be in Ibiza or Tenerife, bit it isn't - it's in mainland Spain.

Wonderful old city - Spain's third largest. They diverted the river out of town some years ago and built a giant park, science museum, planetarium, opera house and Europe's largest aquarium down the middle of it.
