Moravian Falls is a scenic waterfall in the foothills of the Brushy Mountains in adjoining Wilkes County. The waterfall is privately owned by a campground who has built a reproduction of an old mill next to the falls. The campground owners have allowed the public to access the falls, so long as folks ask permission inside the camp store before walking to the falls. Visitors are required to obey all campground rules concerning the falls, and are not allowed to swim near or above the falls.
