Food Scene

Moje Kredenc is conceived as a café, restaurant, bistro, bakery and a shop altogether. The place offers a wide variety of (primarily Italian) products. You can buy daily made bread as well as a lot of different pastries at hand. They also have good coffee. Recommended as a place for brakfast or brunch. :)

This is a nice café conceived in french style and I would recommend it for their tasty homemade cakes.

The Monastic šenk [shenk] is a stylish old bohemian restaurant located on the grounds of Břevnov Monastery. The restaurant offers traditional czech cuisine and they also brew their own beer. I recommend to combine the visit with taking a walk around the monastery and through the little park. :)

The restaurant U Veverky is offering traditional czech cuisine. The food is great, the prices are very favorable, especially compared to the old-town prices. You can try having a "svíčková" [sveechkova], which is one of the most traditional czech meals. :-)

This is a very nice café in Lesser Town, which is very popular with young people. It's always interestingly decorated. I recommend you to try one of their toasts, they are delicious. (I, personally, love the one with goat cheese.)

This café/bar is situated in Kampa in a building of an old mill. The interior is very nice and unique. There is always some exhibition going on as well. Almost everything they offer is very good and the prices are very pleasant despite the location of the place.

Ye's café is a small and cute café located in the part of Prague called Letná (which is considered as the "hipster" part of town). There are very good cafés and restaurants on every corner. Great coffee and cakes.
