This is a Pedestrian Mall at the Heart of Thessaloniki. People can enjoy one of the many outdoor cafes looking down at the Bay or just do people watching.
Mot of the Cafes are large with ample seating. This Mall also has a Post office and the National Bank of Greece
The Seaside Bay is at one end of the Pedestrian Mall where you can take a scenic walk along the Water.

Rotonda is an awe-inspiring building, with some of the most beautiful mosaics I have seen in my life (and I have seen many!). The entrance fee of 2 euros is cheap compared to what you see and feel inside. It's a historical place, used by many religions- pagan, christian, muslim. Thanks to the successful restoration works that only recently ended, the moment you get in, you immediately transfer to the 3rd century A.D. Not to be missed!

The town is small, quiet, mainly greek tourism as far as I can see, quite a lot of bars and cheap traditional tavernas (as well as fast food) along the beach. The beach is a couple of kms long but very narrow. The sea is clear and calm, ideal for kids as it is very shallow and there was plenty of space

It was a pleasant surprise to walk in from the hustle and bustle of the city and feel like you were transported in a different place, further East... cozy, warm atmosphere and polite staff. I would go back and schedule a more complete treatment along with the full body massage.
