Or downstream to Footscray via historical bridges, Flemington Racecourse, under the Westgate Bridge and even on to the pretty village of Williamstown,renowned for its boating history and activities and restaurants . You can even hop on a ferry there which takes you up to South bank Boulevarde in the CBD
Then catch a train home

Designed by Walter Burley Griffin in 1929 as a State of the Art world leading Incinerator. His aim was to create a building that fitted harmoniously into its environment.
Since 2004 It has been a premier visual arts destination in Melbourne's West with regular exhibitions ,workshops and classes being conducted.
Of note is the Incinerator Art Award (Art for Social Change) the Gallery's annual contemporary art prize inspired by the theme of art for social change.
