The zoo is located approximately two minutes down the road. This is a fun family activity and can accommodate large or small groups. You can even pet a goat! It is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and you are able to purchase tickets online.

This is an excellent place to go spend time on a warm day. Many shops line its northern border and the Tennessee River wraps around the south. Walk over the walking bridge into downtown Chattanooga. There is a carousel open year round that fun for kids and in the summer they have interactive water fountains going.

Walk over the walking bridge into downtown Chattanooga. There is a carousel open year round that fun for kids and in the summer they have interactive water fountains going.
Lots of fun for kids of all ages, they have interactive exhibits, craft areas, digging for fossils, and water play. There is also a designated play area for children under one year old.

They also run a special for the museum's permanent collection on the first Thursday of each month from 4pm-8pm it is free adult admission and the special exhibitions are $5 adult admission.
