This charming medieval (and very romantic) wine stube restaurant is an absolute must on your visit to Rothenburg! It has all the ambiance you've been dreaming of and the food is some of the best in town. The place is also listed in Rick Steve's guidebooks for its famous English Conversation Club that has been held every Wednesday evening at 7 pm for the past 20 years. Tourists are welcome and it's a great way to meet the locals!

A not to be missed sight right here in Burgbernheim! Drive (or walk 10 min. from the house) to the top of the hill and you will come to a lovely grassy park with stunning views overlooking the town and Franconian countryside! There are park benches to sit and relax. Other sites in the immediate area are the war memorial, Evangelical church and several wonderful old timber beamed structures.
