A 5 ½ mile circular walk. Some terrain is uneven and rocky. There are paths with gates and stiles and walking on quiet lanes. Refreshments, information and toilets available at the Bog Centre.

Roundton Hill is a rounded, steep sided, 1,210 feet hill, volcanic in origin, in the easternmost part of old Montgomeryshire, Wales, which juts into the English border near Church Stoke. It is managed as a nature reserve by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust.

Roundton Hill is a rounded, steep sided, 1,210 feet hill, volcanic in origin, in the easternmost part of old Montgomeryshire, Wales, which juts into the English border near Church Stoke. It is managed as a nature reserve by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust.

The focus of many local legends, Mitchell's Fold is a Bronze Age stone circle set in dramatic moorland on Stapeley Hill. It once consisted of some 30 stones, 15 of which are still visible.
