Sightseeing

Lovely sandy beach with plenty of space so rarely feels busy. Personally I park on the left hand side of the car park (just past the toilets) and follow a flat path out to the beach. This avoids going up over the sand dunes and so is easier with small children and beach toys and is also accessible with a buggy. There are rocks for scrambling on and rock pools to explore. There is plenty of beach at high tide. There are other beaches along this stretch of road so plenty of options.

A beautiful beach at the end of a walk along a little estuary or through the sand dunes. A good amount of free parking.

Beautiful little cove, always fairly sheltered. Can get quite busy. It is accessed via a narrow lane with passing places so good to be happy reversing if you fancy visiting!

A really popular spot. It has recently changed hands so if you get chance to try it out, it would be great to hear how you get on. It promises to maintain it's high standard with a few exciting changes.

Relaxed, fairly large restaurant with a lot of outside space too so can often get a table when other smaller places are fully booked. It has mixed reviews!
