The scenery is beautiful. right beside the river, it is pleasant to sit and relax watching the river. The garden on too and the walk down to the platform is also lovely.

What child would not like to slide down those sand dunes!
Take a waxed tobogan board (can hire from the sports shop on corner of deakin and 11th st) or thick cardboard. with some practice, kids and adults will be sliding down those dunes!
You can also take a picnic and create beautiful scenic photos. wear shoes in the summer or dig those burning feet into the deep sand as you climb up to cool them down if you forgot the shoes.
