I like to take a long walk on the beach trail down to the pier area and grab a coffee drink here to enjoy with a great view of the ocean or to take for my walk back.

One of my favorite coffee shops close to visit on my way out to run errands. They have great coffee drinks and food (I like their muffins!) and they have a drive-thru for convenience if you're in a hurry.

Great little hole in the wall poke place! You'll have to drive there, find a parking spot - probably on the street, stand in line outside to order, and there may or may not be an available seat (they only have a few outside and no indoor seating), but it's all worth it. This is our fave spot for poke, even if we sit in our car to eat it!

Classic dinner spot with great bar area and atmosphere, on Del Mar, small-ish menu but great food and drinks. Our go-to for a good steak - the Bistro Plate is the perfect little taste of the greats for me!

Best Sushi restaurant in our opinion. On Del Mar. Go early and get on the waiting list, then walk up Del Mar to grab a drink at one of the many places close-by while waiting on your table. Worth the wait, and the wait is rarely as long as they anticipate.

Great local favorite for a taste of Hawaiian food. The mixed plates are a great way to go to try a little of all the meat options. The nachos are a huge portion and so good (we like the pork). Great drinks as well - this place is my go-to for my Mai-Tai fix.
