The Ferry Park is a fun spot for watching the ferries and boats come and go along the channel and grabbing a bite or your favorite beverage. It is undergoing a major upgrade including a new cafe, supper club and art gallery. The Ferry Park is becoming a destination unto itself. During the summer months, the township hosts weekly free concerts on the lawn in July and August. For a fun day trip, you can take the ferry to Lewes, DE. Bikes and cars are permitted on the ferry, and Lewes is easy to get around by bike or on foot. Check their website for rates and schedules.

The zoo is such a treat for this area! Over 550 animals (from snow leopards to giraffes, monkeys to otters) in a beautiful setting, open year-round and FREE! And the grounds are open for hikers, bikers, and picnickers!
