This is a traditional , cosy and friendly pub. Great home cooked food and often have a themed meals e.g "Chinese week".
Not too far to drive.

This is a firm favourite with us, the portions are generous and the food is home cooked, proper pub grub!.
Lots of local ingredients and high quality meat used. The prawn cocktail is the best!
They often have seasonal specials on the board and staff are friendly.
A little drive away but is often quieter as it is just out of the way of tourist hot spots. Always lots of locals in having meals and a pint, nice place for a drink too as it isn't a rowdy " drinkers" pub.
