Americana, fountain sodas, candy mine! In place since 1885, the Miner's Diner is a classic. In 2014, Fred and Misty Dornon bought Miner's Diner with the Candy Mine. They are continually improving the restaurant to provide an excellent experience to all their guests.

Nickel Beer Company was founded in 2013 by Tom and Lindsey Nickel, owners of O’Brien’s Pub in San Diego. Tom started homebrewing at the age of 18 and has wanted to open a brewery in Julian since 1995. He worked in local breweries from 1996 to 2005 and in 2004 he was named the World Beer Cup Small Brewing Company Brewmaster of the Year.

Our enlightening tours preserve the tools, machinery, knowledge, and history of the early Californians, and we are excited to share them with you. We even show the old milling and extraction processes and have a simulated Boothill!

Hike to the summit for spectacular views from the Anza Desert to the Pacific Ocean on a clear day. This roughly 5-mile round-trip hike is considered moderately-difficult, with some steep inclines.
