You can do all your shopping at the Local Spar at Nkomazi Shopping Centre. I can recommend their meat especially. Wide isles and plenty check-out points. There is also the Tops Liquor store to stock up on the sundowners.
There is also a Pharmacy@Spar or you can visit the Clicks store at the Shoprite center for all your medical & pamper needs
If you want to try the local Biltong & Dry Wors or crackling, visit Impala Butchery in Impala Street

Kruger National Park
If you sleep outside the Park and want to go in as a "Day Visitor" make sure you make a booking during peak times like School Holidays, Public Holidays & Long weekends. You can make a reservation at the Malelane Gate or you can do it online at www.sanparks.org.za

Our Summers are extremely hot and the Winter times very mild
In summer, bring cool & comfortable clothing and enough sunscreen. Make sure you also pack a hat/cap.

Always have enough to drink with you going into the Park
If you travel to the Kruger National Park for a day, take enough water and drinks and make sure you have something to snack on as you can drive for long times before getting to a picnic spot/restaurant/shop.

Pack Mosquito Repellant!
Lots of Mosquitos especially in Summer time. Although at our Village we experience this right through the year. Make sure you pack a Mosquito repellant like "Bugger off", Peaceful Sleep, Tabard etc. Creams work well. You can also burn citronella candles/oil lamps to keep them away.
