RESTAURANTS & VIEWS

The town of Los Abrigos is in the south ... The town of Los Abrigos is in the south of Tenerife, belonging to the municipality of San Miguel. Although very small in its origin, it is one of the oldest fishing villages in the south, along with the towns of Las Galletas, El Médano and Los Cristianos. Los Abrigos has always been known for its fishing, having a large fishing fleet (in relation to its population) of small and medium-sized boats, which religiously go out to earn their daily wages. As a consequence of this, restaurants were emerging throughout the entire fishing port. It has always been a regular destination for the inhabitants of the south of the island. Going to eat in Los Abrigos means that we are going to taste the freshest seafood and fish typical of the area. Depending on the time we will find some species or others, but the unconditional ones will always be present such as the old ones, prawns, lobsters, limpets, squid and sea bream, to name a few. The "section of restaurants" is short, about 200 meters, so it is best not to enter the car even if you want (in the past it was possible, but nowadays I don't even try), leaving it on the main road of the town.

You look around you and marvel at the mountains reaching up to touch the sky, while waves break against the walls of the natural swimming pool you are calmly floating in.Picture the crystal clear salty water, its refreshing effect as you jump in, its healing power and the magnificent sunsets you can witness from there while you chat, read or simply lie back and relax.
