You can’t visit Le Gouffre without a visit to Le Gouffre Restaurant. Literally a stone’s throw from the cottage a warm welcome from Angelina and Rui awaits. Go for a coffee or even better sample the lunch or dinner menu. For me the best fish soup in the island but also Specials including lobster and seafood. Too good to miss!

Exactly a mile’s walk from the cottage - a great place for a nice meal and a drink. Good atmosphere with a nice beer garden.

Beautiful beach and great spot for a coffee or some lunch.
Petit Bôt is a 25 minute walk east along the cliffs. There are steps along the way but you are rewarded for your efforts with stunning sea views and a beautiful beach. Here there is a vibrant cafe and kayaks can be hired for exploring the south coast cliffs, caves and inlets.
