It is an awsomre resource for hiking, mountain biking, boating, and simming just 15 minutes from here. Stop in at the visitor's center for maps. Kayak and stand up paddle boards may be rented at the Brandy Creek Beach.

It is an awsomre resource for hiking, mountain biking, boating, and simming just 15 minutes from here. Stop in at the visitor's center for maps. The town of Old Shasta has a State Park, with a wonderful art museum. The museum has a nice collection of California artists. You can also tour the old courthouse, jail, shops and so on. Great local gold rush history.
