Known for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, camping and sightseeing. It's approximately a 30 minute scenic drive from Ronald. Bring everything you need, plus food/drinks for the day. Port-a-potties are available. No motorized boats.
Beyond the boat ramp, you'll find parking for the Pete Lake trailhead.

Gorgeous sandy beach along the south end of Cle Elum Lake, nestled between mountains. Keep in mind, the lake level changes drastically depending on the time of year & rain/snow melt.

The most popular months here are July - October.
Hex Mountain Summit
Nearby hike, moderate 8 mile round trip.
9 mile roundtrip hike. Bring bug spray, snack/water, and a camera! With only 400 ft elevation gain, it's fairly easy.

Hike Thorp Mountain.
Stunning hike overall! It's challenging, but our 6 yr old was able to complete it. The lake and mountain top views are very rewarding. Be prepared to spend at least half a day exploring.
