This is the pub we would go to most often. It is a walk across the fields and very much a local with interesting food. Real Ale pub with reasonable wines. Welcoming aussie couple who run the pub. Good home made soups. Sometimes live music.

This is a carvery/ tea room next door to us. While open every day the carvery operates Tuesday to Sunday and booking is recommended on Sundays as very popular. They have outside tables as well as inside. There is also a general menu paninis, jacket potato, sandwiches, soup etc.

This is Brunel's original iron ship. It won museum of the year and is a very interesting and fun outing. The ship has been completely restored to give a real feel of how it would have been to emigrate in her to Australia etc. You can then take a ferry across to the Bristol waterside where there are many attractions, cafe's bars and restaurants
