Tjurpannan lies just south of Havstenssund. Since there is no protective outher archipelago, it is one of hte most exposed sections of mainland on the coast of Bohuslän. The inshore channel passes close by, and has always benn one of the most feared passages for mariners. The area makes for easy walking, and from the high ground there are grand views of the mainland and of the islands and horizon to the south west.

A very nice place. Sweden’s first Marine National Park, Kosterhavet is centred around the almost car-free Koster Islands. These are Sweden´s most westerly populated islands. Most of North and South Koster is a nature reserve and the flora and fauna is protected. Once on the Kosters, you’ll see small fishing villages surrounded by an amazingly beautiful landscape, with many different plants and flowers. You get there by a ferry from Strömstad. Strömstad – Koster; The passenger ferryboat (Kosterbåtarna) depart daily from the north harbour in Strömstad, a crossing of around 45 minutes.

Go as far out in the archipelago of Bohuslän, there you will find The Weather Islands. A breathtakingly beautiful oasis in the middle of the ocean. You can travel here all year around - summer, autumn, winter and spring. Our fast and comfortable boats will pick you up at either Hamburgsund or Fjällbacka and you will arrive safe and sound at the islands. The Inn at the Weather Islands contains a wonderful restaurant as well as cosy rooms for those of you who wish to stay a bit longer.
