Part of a beautiful old stone mill transformed into a 1 bed luxury holiday cottage, nestled in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and 5 minute drive from the historic town of Cardigan.
Cryngae Mawr Farm was founded in the 1820s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Coach House itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. It has recently been converted to a high standard providing a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury bathroom with power rain shower and a large open plan kitchen and lounge with large double sofa bed. The Coach House has a private garden to front but also has a sunny open garden area to the rear leading to the woods and streams beyond.
The Cardigan Bay area was voted by lonely planet as best place to be in the world right now, its absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants. Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants. Bed and Breakfast at our farmhouse that is almost 200 years old. We are in a quiet spot yet nestled between Aberporth on the coast and Cardigan with all the amenities. A great location for walking the coastal path or visiting some of the best beaches in West Wales.
The house is on a quiet 8 acre small holding near the beautiful coastline of West Wales. 3 miles to Cardigan and about a 40 minute drive to the Ferry to Ireland at Fishguard. Cardigan has a Aldi and a Tesco. A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. Our local beach is Mwnt, listed as No. 1 in the Daily Mail's list in the Top Ten: Europe's Secret Beaches. You can easily walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path. There is a small bedroom with 2 single beds, another small one with a double bed, and a larger one with a King Size bed. Two bathrooms (one for exclusive use by guests) and a shower in an outbuilding if you hate baths and want an invigorating experience. We have our own eggs if you like a big breakfast. It is a 15 minute walk to the local bus stops if you are using public transport. In the summer and selected days in the winter there is the Cardi Bach, a small bus that serves the Coastal Path so you only need to walk one way. The Cardi Bach bus stop in Felinwynt is close to our drive. Closest train stations are Carmarthen or Aberystwyth. If you come by bus, happy to pick you up in Cardigan. If you like to cycle, we are on a bike route and plenty of space in the barn to store yourvbike. Plenty of good places to eat nearby and if you are on a tight budget you can cook in the kitchen. If the dates you want are booked, contact us we may have another bedroom available. One of the most popular trips in Cardigan is a boat trip called Bay to Remember-On most trips you will see dolphins, seals and plenty of bird life.
We live in a rural location although there is a convenience shop 2 miles away. You can walk to the coastal path from our house. We live down a drive off a quiet road. It is a quiet location.

The van by the river is a cosy retreat ideal for one or two adults and a great base to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches nearby - or you can just watch the wildlife in comfort. Herons, egrets, buzzards and kites are regular visitors and you might catch a glimpse of the shyer residents; the kingfishers, otters, owls and badgers. The van is a 70's model which has been fully refurbished and now has electric heating and hot water as well as a wood burner.
On the edge of the river Teifi, 200 metres from Cenarth Water Falls. You can launch your canoe and paddle downriver all the way to the beach at Poppit sands. A full breakfast is available in the house if you don't want to cook your own.
Cenarth is a small and friendly village located on the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire: it's surrounded by beautiful countryside and spectacular beaches as well as too many other attractions to choose from.

Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue.
You'll be a secluded half mile from the road, sharing the un-made track with the quarryman's cottage next door and some horses. Tegryn village has a pub almost in walking distance (uphill) while Crymych and its shops is four miles. So it's a hideaway from which you can launch expeditions to tour the area - or just hideaway in.
Apart from the country walks on your doorstep, everything's a car ride away: Cardigan is 20 mins and beyond that the Poppit Sands beach. Aberaeron and the honey ice cream shop is 3/4 hour heading towards Aberystwyth and the other way Britain's smallest city of St Davids is an hour. Or just stay home and enjoy the view.

Our family holiday home is a large 4 bedroom house set in a farmyard in the beautiful countryside of West Wales. With half an acre of private garden and a field, it is ideal for a 'getaway from it all' holiday. Accommodation is spread over 2 floors, 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor. The farmhouse has a large kitchen/dining room with conservatory attached, sitting room and has 2 family bathrooms. The south facing private garden has a table and seating.
Our House is large family house with lots of space, traditionally furnished but with all the mod cons. The house is part of a small farm - hidden away and very relaxing. The garden is south facing and a real sheltered hot spot when sunny. It is 20-30min drive to 7 plus beaches many of which are blue flag. It is the perfect place to explore North Pembrokeshire and South Ceredigion, beautiful rugged coastline with estuary beaches and coves . Near the Teifi river with Cenarth falls, less than 3 miles away. Cenarth also has a great village shop, and two pubs. Great for walking, swimming, fishing, boating, golf, coasteering, kayaking.
This is tranquil part of west wales, with our neighbours in the cottage next door.

Bed and breakfast at our farmhouse is over 200 years old.
Cardigan has a Aldi, a Tesco, and Co-op supermarket A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. If we are able, we will cook you breakfast or we will supply the breakfast goodies and you can prepare your own breakfast at a time that suits you.
You can walk to the coastal path from our house though it is easier to drive to the access path by the national Trust Waterwheel.

Our homely wooden cabin is a new addition to our 4 acer smallholding, tucked down a quiet lane just a couple of minutes drive from Cardigan. Golygfa, meaning ‘nice view’ is a name of our home that is on top of a little hill overlooking the Teifi gorge. Stunning views towards the Preseli hills, just a stones throw from Poppit Sands and Mwnt beach.
Our cabin is a very compact space. All in one - kitchen with hot water, two ring portable gas cooker, little fridge, 2 beds 120cm wide - so either get cosy on one or have a king size single each (the 2nd bed is in mezzanine). Dinning table on veranda, flushable toilet, simple shower, veggie patch few steps away providing you with a home grown produce. Clutch of chickens will lay you a morning egg. Wifi does not reach to the cabin but you can get signal oh the veranda and in the garden. We hope that the outdoor space - lovely garden with orchard where squirrel is our daily guest, big field with deer seeking for a fresh grass, and a beautiful scenery where evenings can be spent watching the sun set over Cardigan and the hills beyond will make up for the small indoor space. We feel that our village of Llangoedmor is ideally located for quick and easy access to our local market town of Cardigan and all the beaches of South Ceredigion and North Pembrokeshire, including Aberporth, Mwnt and Poppit Sands. Day trips to New Quay, St. Davids and Tenby are all within an hours drive. The area locally is ideal for outdoor sports and activities such as coasteering, river and sea kayaking, climbing, nature trails and the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastal paths.
Rural, quite and relaxing. Cardigan is one of the top 10 places to bring up a family in the UK! Cilgerran Wildlife Park is awesome, Mwnt beach is stunning, Cardigan town is alive and colourful, best bog standard grub is the Nags Head in Abercych, 10 minutes drive. Best pubs and general good food in Newport, 20 minutes drive. Pizza Tipi is very cool, Cardigan, next to the river.
