A peaceful urban sanctuary in the native bush forest awaits!
Wake to the sound of native birds in this unique living space - Family and child friendly, freshly renovated 1930's Bedford bus. Fully self-contained, it is very private, surrounded by bush, and a perfect sanctuary for a peaceful stay.
You can wander out from the bus, down to the beautiful river and into the beautiful native forest. A unique kiwi experience!

Eignin
The bus retains much of it's original charm and features, with the original steering wheel and dashboard still in place. The downstairs has been lined with birch wood panelling for a wonderful natural look, and the fixed table in the drivers cab has been custom made from native macrocarpa timber. Upstairs is a fixed queenside double bed. Downstairs, the sofa folds out into a double bed. So overall, it can comfortably sleep 2 couples/4 people.
Mood lighting - The space has been fully fitted with LED lighting, which can be set to various colours and patterns, such as phasing slowly in and out of different colours, to create a special atmosphere.

Directly outside is a massive covered private wooden deck, plus a large flat grass area, perfect for summer evenings lawn games, and extended outdoor living space.
Swing on the hammocks or lounge on the outdoor couch as the sun goes down.

The garden is shared - my sons have a trampoline there which they use sometimes, and there is a large tent in the garden for our woofers. We only have woofers sometimes, so the tent is often unoccupied.

Both of the green outside couches fold-out into double beds, so you can drag them out and lie back and do some serious star gazing if the sky is clear!!

WIFI: We have a super-fast fibre connection, delivered via a mesh network. This is the most up to date technology available. Unlimited, 24/7, super-fast strong signal - couldn't be better!

For many years now, I have been host to travellers of all nationalities and backgrounds via the woofing network, and have now decided to be a part of the Airbnb family. Originally from Glasgow, I am a full-time musician and dad to two boys aged 9 and 10. I love spending time with my boys, playing football, cycling and sharing stories with fine food and wine around the table or around the bonfire. I also love to play table tennis or petanque here at home. I have travelled a lot in the past, as a backpacker, and touring with my music, and I love hearing stories from friends and visitors about their experiences around the world. I look forward to this new venture with Airbnb and welcoming people to this special place at Willowbrook.
