I’m Sebas.

I hail from Formentera, the smallest of Spain’s Balearic islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s just a short ferry ride from the neighbouring Island Ibiza and is popular for its clear blue waters and dune-backed beaches.

Having grown up in that summertime tourist destination and in a family specialising in the tourism business, I got to socialise a lot with travellers from across the world and pick up aspects of different cultures and languages. For instance, I speak Spanish, French, Catalan, Italian, and English.

I also understand German to an extent, and now that I’m hosting Airbnb guests, I have found that my immense cultural experience, knowledge of tourism, and multilingualism are a major stepping stone to communicating seamlessly with my guests and giving them a memorable experience.

I am a traveller myself who has seen a lot of places around the world, and my travel experience informs my hosting decisions. In fact, when I first visited Essaouira, Morocco, (that is, following my mother’s relocation from Formentera to that city in North Africa), I had expectations like any other traveller. There were a number of room amenities I knew I couldn’t do without on that trip. A fast internet connection, for instance.

This is why for years I have been working diligently, anchoring on my experiences as a guest and my passion for interior design to create for my guests a most conducive and cosy place to stay while in Essaouira. I want other people to feel more relaxed than I was on my first trip to Morocco. I want to offer you a place that reflects essential hotel amenities. I want to give you the European experience right here in Morocco.

What’s more, I am open to giving you recommendations that might improve your stay. For instance, you can check out my Airbnb guidebook to see my recommended restaurants, shopping destinations, exotic markets, and tourist sites here in Essaouira. In fact, I’m always available to offer you some assistance, and I can be as interactive as you want me to be.

Finally, I love kitesurfing. So if you are into the sport or similar sports like snorkeling and sailing, I can show you the best places to rent equipment as well as where the best spots are.
