There is a beautiful walk along the river and around the whole point. You can either go over the point to the Lighthouse or on low tide along the bottom and around the rocks. There are beautiful rock pools here with lots of marine life. There is also a cafe here open for Breakfast and Lunch Tuesday - Sunday.

Perfect for kids to swim, walk towards the entrance and there is a sand pumped beach to relax on. Best on high tide.

Great walk from La Balsa Park, up to the lighthouse and down to the beach on the other side. Pop over to Mooloolaba fish and market for fresh fish and chips (not quite as good as Noosa Fish Market, but almost)

A great spot to walk and swim. You would need to drive from the Villa. There is a cafe there and goes around to the surf beach at Kawana and Point Cartwright.

La Balsa Park, at the end of Harbour Drive and on the edge of the Mooloolah River is the perfect place for the kids to play and the adults to sit and watch the world around them. Many visitors and residents enjoy fishing from the banks of the Mooloolah River or the bund wall which are accessible from the Harbour Drive entrance and the reserve.
