Huge, beautiful beach. Robin Hood and Harry Potter filmed here ( if you hunt the dunes you can find dobbins grave). Great for surfing and body boarding life guarded in Summer. Take care with rip tides if not supervised. Amazing Caffi Mor, Seafood and locally sourced food truck in main car park

Fresh West is a large, wild and remote beach. If there is no surf here then there is no surf in Wales. A soft sandy beach backed by large sand dunes. Parking can be limited in summer as it is a popular beach. There are loos and a really good street food van. Freshwater West 40 mins from Sutton

Freshwater West beach is an incredible, vast and unspoilt beach located 15 minutes by car. It has been used as the backdrop for many films such as Dunkirk, Robin Hood and Harry Potter. Although the shell cottage from Harry Potter has now been dismantled, Dobie's Grave definitely remains and is visited by many to leave a painted rock or lone sock! Freshwest is a super beach and one of Pembrokeshire's main surf spots, be careful though as there is a dangerous rip current. Parking is free and there are loos.
