“This place is full of history, and I encourage you to learn about it while there. They also have a petting zoo, poneys, donkeys, peacocks and in the spring this place is amazing with the azyleas blooming! looks like a painting from Monet! Look also for the butterfly garden and the little houses for kids to play.”

“THE FAIRYTALE-ESQUE ANGEL OAK TREE in Charleston, SC, is thought to be one of the oldest living oak trees east of the Mississippi River. It stands 65 feet (20m or 6 stories) tall, is 28 ft (8.5 m) in circumference, and an area of 17,000 square feet is shaded by its tentacular crown. The largest branch reaches 187 feet. Estimated to be 400-500 years old, this Southern live oak has survived a number of hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes. It was damaged by Hurricane Hugo in 1989 but recovered and continues to grow.”

“8 minutes away! Park full of azaleas and little ponds & fountains. No playgrounds. Just a nice little park for a walk to spot some turtles or to have a romantic picnic.”

“One of Charleston's largest breweries. This brewery features a rotating selection of a variety of beers and a great food menu as well. The new brewery offers great views of the marsh. Great place to catch the sunset. ”
