Very nice place for a hike! located on Cedar Neck Road in Ocean View. From the sandy beach at low tide, you can walk the trails through seven distinctive habitats; from the salty flats of the low marsh through the shrubby high marsh into the shade of the loblolly pines, and red cedar of the maritime forest, into the deep shade of the hardwood forest under a canopy of trees.

Great place for a walk or bring the beach chairs to relax on the sandy beach on the bay. Look for owls, fox, deer, turkey, osprey. Can get buggy so make sure to bring bug spray.

About a 1/4 mi. north on Cedar Neck Rd is James Farm Ecological Preserve. A beautiful spot for a nature walk. Follow the RED trail (abt a 1/2 mi walk) for access to a private beach on the Indian River Bay with amazing sunsets to the west and a view of the Indian River Bridge to the East. In season kayak and SUP board rentals are available.
