Dating back to 1198, the Brazen Head is Ireland's oldest pub (so they say). It is well worth a visit for both its historical value and reputation as one of Dublin's best Irish music venues. It also boasts a lovely traditional Irish menu which will not disappoint. Driving to Dublin is approximately 45 minutes (traffic depending) or take the train from Newbridge to Heuston Station and then take the luas to Smithfield stop, come out on to quays and cross the bridge and there you'll find it. Nice cosy spot.
