Watchet is a lovely small harbour town with fishing vessels and local markets, together with great small eating places.

The Esplanade and marina are a nice place to sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. Sea fishing trips are available too.

The Saint-Tropez of Somerset! Watchet has lots of small shops and cafés and great ice cream. Definitely worth a trip on the steam railway from Bishops Lydeard or Crowcombe station.
