A great historical pub where you will find a good pint and meal at a reasonable price. Located next to the Bruntsfield Links short hole golf course. You can hire clubs from the pub and play for free.

One of the oldest pubs in Edinburgh, the Golf Tavern was founded in 1456. This buzzing links-side pub serves up cask ales and a pub grub on rustic wood tables. There is a 36 hole pitch and putt on the Links, and golf clubs can be rented for a £5 deposit. Open April to October it's really good fun, and adds an extra element to a pretty normal pub day out!
