Ok, well, recommending a coffee place in Seattle is tricky. Truth be told, we rarely go out for coffee- we are huge fans of Caffe Vita Coffee Roasters, and have left some in the cottage for you to try. But if you are one of those "I need a cup of coffee before I go out for coffee" type of people, enjoy the Caffe Vita, and then head up the street and check out Herkimer. Good, strong coffee. Classic Northwest aesthetic with lots of blonde wood and plenty of places to park your laptop. Lots of other coffee available just up the hill. Of course, Starbucks if you are so inclined.
