Historic cabins and buildings moved from gold rush Fairbanks' era create a charming village (lighted for holidays), many housing small shops. Pioneer and Air Museums. Original Sternwheeler Nenana sits in the center of park. Train ride around park; purchase tickets at station at back of park. Palace Saloon features summer nights revue (check on-line for hours and show content information). Picnic tables, large grass fields and beautiful flowers make the park a perfect place to eat lunch and spend the afternoon. Alaska Salmon Bake outdoor buffet, mid-May - mid-Sept. Carousel. Civic Center building currently closed for renovation. (Most attractions open summer only; walk through all year.)
