Great food and coffee in the upstairs cafe with binoculars and telescopes set up to see the natural highlights of Loch Leven's bird population. A circular walk or cycle ride all round the loch can be accessed from here or several other places with car parking. Bird hides are located below the Vane farm cafe and shop towards the loch. More hides are positioned around the path.

Good hiking trail round Loch Leven, you can take a trip out to the island where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned for many years. The reserve is superb for bird watching with several hides out on the lagoons or you can walk through the woodlands to the top of the hill behind the farm. Good café as well. Portmoak gliding centre at Scotlandwell is nearby so you may see lots of gliders.

the bird watching is fantastic check out the café too. watch for Canada grey geese in the migration periods thousands of birds Osprey, Red Kite, Swan's

Huge nature reserve with hides on the Loch or you can walk the hills. Also has cafe and shop.
