The pintxos are chalked up on a board and cooked to order: an unctuous risotto of mushrooms and idiazabal (a Basque cheese), garlic soup with pig's ear, braised veal cheeks in wine or a bacalao.

2. Borda Berri for fantastic, freshly-made Basque pintxos in the Old Part. Seasonal food and authentic, very small rustic bar. Expect to eat standing up, or perched at a bar table. I love the cheese risotto and friends always for braised beef cheeks “carilleras” or pork kebab

A pintxo bar made with good products and a very pleasant service. The risotto and the cheekbones are unbeatable.
