Want a taste of a SF locally based coffee house? GO TO PHILLZ! Everytime my dad comes to visit this is the place we go. The service is super and the pour over coffee even better.

Third wave coffee place that originated in San Francisco. It's like the Trader Joe's of cafes. Come here for "interesting" coffee and tea (like coffee with cardamom and mint!) and to do some work on their free wifi.

Bay Area favorite - there's a drink called a mint mojito that is alcohol free, but don't worry there's plenty of caffeine.

Philz Coffee rules the world with their mini mojito iced coffee. Ask for it to me made with cream and half the sugar.... It's a fresh creamy dream -- but a dream that will keep you wide awake from the caffeine. :))
