Sometimes, ya just want a basic Mexican plate without all the frills and higher prices. For those instances, you definitely want to hit this place up. Las Tap serves-up really awesome and authentic Tex-Mex indoors and through their drive-thru window, and does it all with prices that will still allow you to take the kids to Sea World. Friendly staff, simple service and unpretentious surroundings make it an easy choice for a quick bite or a full meal, and the fact that a hefty percentage of the local population dines here means it's gotta be good.

San Antonio is known for its breakfast tacos. This little local spot is fast and very affordable.

Family-owned and run, typical neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Mexican fare. This has been my neighborhood go-to for the past 6-years, and other neighbors are often seen enjoying some breakfast tacos or caldo de pollo.
