Great place for a day out. Lovely castle right next to a beautiful river where we have spotted otters of a few occasions.
Uncover nearly 800 years of history at the magnificent Cilgerran Castle. This striking 13th-century fortress is perched overlooking the spectacular Teifi Gorge.
Fascinating ruins, ancient castle with tons of history. very cheap or sometimes free to get in. Lovely village of Cilgerran as well.

“Younger kids will love it here...Wales’ only dedicated Shire Horse Farm visitor attraction! Based in Pembrokeshire’s Coastal National Park! Visit Dyfed Shires and meet our gentle giants on a traditional Welsh working farm as seen on TV’s ‘Escape to the Country’, ‘Farmers Country Showdown’ & ‘Ffermio’ to name a few.”
