Every Sunday in the summer, there is a party on the beach! Cherry beach Sunday's from 3 pm to 11 pm, local and international DJ's. That's the place were most Canadians hang out on Sunday.
Shh this is our secret. Only die hard locals know that on summer nights the beach is lit up by bonfires. Secluded, romantic, quiet. If I am hiding, I am most likely at Cherry beach, sipping wine by a bonfire.
Located on the north shore of the Outer Harbour at the foot of Cherry Street. The park features dog off-leash area, ample parking is located on the Martin Goodman Trail and receives TTC bus service during the summer season. The west side of the beach is popular with kite boarders.
121 Bus takes you there or you can ride a bixie bike along the Harbourfront bike path

“A ten-minute walk straight down Sherbourne St, Sugar Beach is your mini-beach in the city. There is no water access (as it goes into the harbour which isn't safe) but it is a beautiful spot to catch some sun.”
