Overlooking 22nd St, this is a little spot nearby that people host outdoor weddings at because it's secluded and romantic.

Hidden gem in the neighborhood -- a smaller version of those in Rome.

Hop the red line from Union Station to Dupont Circle. Look for the Q ST EXIT. Walk up Connecticut Ave, turn left onto R ST, then right onto 22nd ST. Enjoy the quietest, coolest nook in the city.

While wandering through Kalorama, it's always a special treat to find the secluded Spanish Steps. They were inspired by the marvel of the same name in Rome. The stairs are ensconced by magnolia trees and lead to a fountain with a lion’s head. Pack a picnic, or just stop to rest.
