We can walk down our track at the back of our garden and over the coastal path (not too strenuous)or, when the tide is out it joins beautiful Newgale beach. Also, across the road from the beach we have our local pub and Sands cafe which does as well as usual snacks, offers vegan snacks.

A beautiful long sandy beach. Usually pretty quiet. Great parking. People enjoy water sports here. Nothing much else around except glorious scenery and walks. Take a packed lunch or little bbq!

Newgale is a 2 mile long Blue Flag beach popular for surfing, and beach fun.

Pantier and our cottages are only a 1.5 mile drive to our local beach, the stunning Blue Flag splendour of Newgale. Nothing quite beats that drive down the hill to the sweeping 2 miles of golden sound opening up before you. With a surf and watersports activity centre on site there is so much on offer for families, surfers and walkers alike - learn to surf by day (try Newsurf just behind the beach (01437 721398)) and roast marshmallows on the campfire by night. You'll also find the most fabulous rock pools at either end of the beach. For a pretty epic vista, why not walk up the West Hills just behind the beach where you can find the perfect picnic spot!

Two mile stretch of golden sand, that attracts kite surfers, surfers and body boarders all year round. Stunning views on the drive down towards the beach.
