Marco Island Historical Museum

A neat place to visit to see all the history of our Island.
To be honest I have not been here, but this is exactly where I would go to see the history of development on Marco Island for myself. I've read they also have exhibits on the Calusa Indians.
Did you know that the Calusa Indians (the shell indians) lived on Marco in the 1500's to 1700's. The history of these extinct first settlers is very amazing. Visit the museum to see exhibits and learn of these inhabitants.
Good way to learn about the history of Marco Island. Also located next to the Marco Island library.

“Many visitors do not think about local library as a place to visit. Packed with activities for adults and children alike, my 10-min planned visit always turned out to be an hour long at least. From Pokemon Lure Party to lively Discussion about Cuba history and BREXIT and EU... There is a very nice computer lab for kids and for a small fee, you could access to a humongous list of DVD titles!”
