An easy walk around a local village. There are plenty of steaming hot pools that they use for day to day - and you can try some corn cooked in the hot water pool. A cultural show takes about 30 minutes. Walk on past the church and you will see the Pohutu Geyser

A genuine living Maori village not a show, worth a visit for a better understanding of the local Maori culture and way of life
