Why not have a trip to Manorbier Castle, have a cuppa & a cake then wander down to Manorbier beach to have a paddle.
Norman baronial residence overlooking a beautiful beach. Well-preserved walls enclose a grassy courtyard with extensive remains of a chapel and staterooms. Described by medieval writer/traveller Gerald of Wales as ‘the pleasantest spot in Wales’.
Part of the Dashwood family Estates, Manorbier Castle's ancestors have owned the castle since 1670. The Castle is one of the few castles in private hands in Wales. Set in an imposing position above the beach of Manorbier, the Castle is steeped in history.

“Great for local fish dishes, lovely atmosphere. Stackpole village is close to Barafundle, Broad Haven and Stack Rocks and is a great favourite locally. ”

“Another great castle. A level walk (slight inclines) from the parking areas. One opposite the Carew Inn. The other is immediate left after you cross the bridge from the Carew Inn.. Keep going alongside the water and the car park is straight ahead. The circular walk takes you around the Millpond and gives stunning views of the bridge, Castle and Mill. Carew Castle puts on quite a few events and entertainments during the year. Check their site to see what's on. ”
