Pikes Peak has some of the most stunning views in the Midwest. They have terrific hiking trails for the more adventurous, and beautiful lookouts if you're looking for a less strenuous activity. It's a great place to have a picnic.

Gorgeous overview where the Wisconsin River joins the Mississippi River. Great walking trails and picnic area. No entry fee to the park!
